We created an immersive website for Kalavasos, featuring a 360° Walkthrough and a Virtual Museum of archaeological sites and artifacts.
Website & Virtual Museum (October 2024)
Kalavasos, a village steeped in history, wanted to bring its cultural heritage to the digital age. We partnered with the Kalavasos Community Council to build a modern, innovative website that invites the world to discover the village’s archaeological wonders, natural beauty, and tradition.
At the heart of this project is a Virtual 360° Walkthrough of the Neolithic archaeological site Kalavasos Tenta, along with a 3D model of the ongoing Bronze Age excavation. We also created a 3D library of key artifacts, giving visitors a chance to explore the middle to late Bronze Age from the comfort of their homes.
The website is rich in video and photographic content, offering previews of Kalavasos' top attractions, from where to stay to what to eat. Visitors can explore the village online before experiencing it in person, making this digital experience a gateway to Kalavasos’ ancient past and modern hospitality.
